Store your bicycle over the winter and keep it safe and road-ready for spring. This is a no-cost service provided by Parking and Transportation Services.

Winter Bike Storage Starts Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025

Bikes are accepted between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

How to Store Your Bicycle

  • Drop-off: Bring your bicycle to the Parking and Transportation Services office at 106 Spaulding Quad.
  • Register: Your bicycle must be registered with UB. If it is not, you may register at our office and store your bike that day, or register in advance. For storage, we will give your bike a unique tag that corresponds with your UB ID.
  • Pick-up: In the spring, call us when you are ready to ride. Show your UB ID and check-in tag at pick-up from 106 Spaulding Quad. Bikes must be picked up by May 1st, 2025.
  • Bike Health: Parking and Transportation Services will schedule a bike tune-up event during the spring semester to oil chains, check brakes, and perform routine maintenance on your bicycle to get it road-ready for spring.
  • Share: Let others in the UB community know about the bicycle services provided by UB Parking and Transportation Services!
