Use Mathematica: math software that integrates numeric and symbolic computations, graphics, programming language documentation and connectivity to other applications, available for Windows, Macintosh and Linux.

Instructions

Download Mathematica
  1. Click Download Mathematica, above
  2. Authenticate with your UBITName and UBITName password
  3. Click Get Mathematica
  4. Do you have a Wolfram account already?
    • No: Click Create one and make a new Wolfram account that uses your UB email address
    • Yes:
      1. Enter your UB email address and click Continue
      2. Enter your Wolfram password and click Sign in
  5. Complete the form and click Submit

Eligibility

  • UB students, faculty or staff for use on personally-owned computers
  • UB faculty/staff for use on UB-owned computers

This software is not licensed for federally sponsored research.
