Requesting Software from UB for UB-Owned Computers
Some UB-licensed software is available to department staff for UB-owned computers at no additional cost.

Adobe Acrobat Pro
Adobe Acrobat Pro is provided automatically to all faculty at UB. Staff with a work need may request approval for getting Adobe Acrobat Pro through their Departmental IT Staff.
Microsoft Campus Agreement Software
The University at Buffalo participates in the SUNY Microsoft Campus Agreement. The licensing agreement includes institutional usage rights for the following products:
- Office Professional Plus for Windows
- Office for Mac
- Client Access Licenses for department use only (Server licenses are not included)
- Windows Server Standard
- Active Directory Rights Management Services
- Exchange Server Standard and Enterprise
- SharePoint Server Standard and Enterprise

Microsoft Key Codes for IT Support Staff
Key codes are available to Distributed IT Directors and their designees.
Requesting Access to Microsoft Key Codes
Distributed IT Directors should send a request with the UBITName of the individual.
