This workshop is for any faculty members, post-doctoral associates, graduate students or professional students at the University at Buffalo. The participants will learn some important elements of statistical machine learning. After attending the workshop, they will be able to determine the difference between supervised learning and unsupervised learning. They will also learn some classical techniques for statistical machine learning problems.
