Closing Out a Posting

When you close out the posting you are able to begin the paperwork to make your candidate a new employee.

Finalize Your Hire In UB Jobs

When candidate has accepted your position and you are ready to take the final step of disqualifyingthe remaining applicants.

  1.  Log in to UB Jobs
  2. Click on the position type under the Postings tab
  3. Choose View Applicants from the actions menu for the posting
  4. Click the check boxes for applicants to update
  5. Choose Move in Workflow from the actions menu
  6. Choose a disqualification reason from the New State and Reason menus
  7. Click Save Status Changes
Send Letter Option

If you choose to send letter under the status column, an email notification will be sent as soon as you click save status change.

Applicants cannot see the reason they did not move forward in the search.
