PuTTY

PuTTY is an open-source terminal emulator, serial console and network file transfer application for Windows. PuTTY is a secure telnet client for Windows utilizing the SSH protocol. It lets you connect to remote systems from your PC. After providing your UBITName and Password to log on to the remote computer, you can enter commands that will be executed as if you were entering them directly on the remote computer.

Ways to use

Download

  1. Download PuTTY (Windows)
  2. Select the appropriate download for your computer from the choices under Package Files
  3. Uninstall any previous versions of PuTTY, then install the software
