As an Indian immigrant, Akruti Babaria didn’t want her son to miss out on the elements of their culture that she grew up with and left behind. So she created Kulture Khazana – a book company, then a toy, puzzle and craft company – with fun products to help him celebrate his heritage.
Turns out, a lot of other moms had the same wish. They’ve been so supportive of the products with online sales that Kulture Khazana just celebrated a major milestone: three of her products are for sale in nearly 300 Target stores.
Kulture Khazana participated in UB's Cultivator early-stage startup program, receiving mentorship, incubator space and a $100,000 investment.
