Managing Your Profile

My Profile contains important information regarding your account. When accessing My Profile, you can edit certain information and view other information related to your profile.

Access My Profile

Click on the grey button displaying your name in the header bar.

Click My Profile (Figure 1).

Profile Details

Provides an overview of the personal information on your account. To make changes to your information:

Click Edit.

Type your information in the corresponding text fields.

Click Save (Figure 2).

Change Password

Changing your password through iLabs is only available if you signed up to iLabs using iLab credentials.

To change your current password:

Type your current password in the Current Password text field.

Type a new password in the New Password text field.

Click Save (Figure 3).

Billing/Shipping Information

The billing information you provide is displayed on invoices created by the core and is also used if your lab enables the option to receive invoices by mail. The shipping information is used for all orders and requests in iLab that require and item to be shipped to you. To change your information:

Click Edit

Type the appropriate text in each of the corresponding text fields.

Click Save (Figure 4).

Notification Settings

Allows you to customize which communications you receive and where you receive them. To change your notification preferences:

Click the checkboxes inline with the option you'd like to change. iLab inbox means you receive the notification in iLabs and email would go to the email linked to your account. Some options cannot be changed (Figure 5).

Click Save (Figure 6).

Search Preferences

Sets the default for the products you want to see in your order history. To set the preference:

Click the dropdown and select one of the options.

Click Save (Figure 7). 

This section is only available if your lab or group using requisitioning.

Projects

If the group or lab you belong to uses requisitioning, orders are organized under Projects based on grants, funds, departments or other distinct information (Figure 8).

Adding a New Project

Click Create New Project.

Type the Name, Ordering and Sharing Options in the corresponding text fields.

Click Create New Project (Figure 9).

Labs

Displays all the labs and groups you are a member of (Figure 10).

Click the name of the lab or group to go to that lab or group's page.

Colleagues

Displays other members that share the same lab or group as you. This allows you to order on behalf of other members, add members to funding sources and assign members to projects (Figure 11).
