Logging into UBbox

1. Go to https://ubbox.buffalo.edu
2. Click the Login button
3. Enter your UBITName in the first (username) field
4. Enter your UBITName password in the Password field
5. Click Sign In
6. Review the terms of service and click Agree (first time only)
   

"ITORG exception accounts" are typically used by academic and departmental IT staff.  An ITORG exception account might be created to isolate a student employee’s work email from his or her academic email, for instance. They are different from your UBITName and password.

1. Go to https://ubbox.buffalo.edu
2. Click the Login button
3. Enter "ITORG\” followed by your ITORG login in the first (username) field
4. Enter the ITORG exception account's password in the Password field
5. Click Sign In
6. Review the terms of service and click Agree (first time only)

1. Go to https://a.box.com
2. Email Address: Enter your full @buffalo.edu email address
3. Password: Enter your UBITName password

Collaborators outside of UB with whom you have shared folders and files receive an invitation to create a box account and accept UB terms. They should follow the directions in the email invite to create a free box account. They will then log into box.com (not UBbox) to view shared files.
