If you have been migrated to UBbox, and discover that you don't want your account to be part of the new service, you can still opt out. Your account will be separated, but you will still be able to use your original amount of storage space. Use the contact information below for the UBIT Help Center and we'll help you get everything changed.

Common Questions

Will I lose any of my personal files?

No--anything you have already uploaded will stay right where you left it. In accordance with the Standards for Securing Restricted Data policy and campus guidelines, however, we recommend that sensitive information not be stored on any University at Buffalo device or service, including UBbox.

I paid for a box account, but now I get one free from UB. What should I do to stop my payments and get a refund?
