Save Files in the Cloud with Box Drive

Use Box Drive to store, access and share files and folders from the cloud, freeing up your hard drive.  

Important:

Box Drive does not work on the new M1 processor Macintosh computers.

Reconnecting Box Drive

  1. Click on the system tray.  
  2. Click on the Box icon
  3. Click on the Settings wheel in the upper left corner
  4. Click Exit
  1. Start menu > Box
  2. Enter UBITName and password

Common Questions

I need access to my files when I am offline. Is Box Drive right for me?
Yes, files can be accessed offline if they are marked for offline. Once you re-establish an Internet connection, the files will sync automatically.

How do I access and share Box Drive files?

  • Windows: Access Box Drive by opening explorer on your PC and navigating to the folder named Box.
  • Mac: Access Box Drive by opening Finder on your mac and navigating to the folder named Box located under Devices and Favorites in the side bar.
