Save Files in the Cloud with Box Drive

1. Uninstall Box Sync (if installed).
2. Download Box Drive installer.
3. Navigate to your download, and double-click it to run the installer.
4. Follow the instructions to complete the installation. If Box Drive does not launch automatically upon installation, you may need to launch it from the Start menu.
5. You must log into Box Drive the first time you open it using your UBITName immediately followed by @buffalo.edu (e.g. jdoe@buffalo.edu) and UBITName Password.
   
6. After logging in, you will see a quick walkthrough of Box Drive features. Once this is complete, your Box content is available at C:\Users\USERNAME\Box.

Box Drive will run automatically once installed. You can also open it from the Start menu. Once you launch Box Drive the first time, you will be able to access Box from File Explorer or the Windows system tray.

1. Uninstall Box Sync (if installed).
   
2. Download Box Drive Installer.
3. Using your Finder, navigate to your Downloads and locate the Box.pkg file.
4. Double-click Box.pkg and follow the Installer instructions. DO NOT change the install location.
   
5. For Mac OS 10.13 and newer:
   1. Click Open System Preferences.
   2. Click Allow.
   3. Return to the previous prompt and click Retry Loading Box.
      
6. Once the installation has completed, Box Drive will open.
7. In the login window, click Use Single Sign-on (SSO).
8. Enter your UBmail email address (janedoe@buffalo.edu).
9. Enter your UBITName and UBITName Password, or your ITORG\username and password.
   
10. Click Sign In.
11. After logging in, you see a quick walk-through of Box Drive features. 

Whenever you log in, Box Drive will open a new Finder window automatically, and Box should appear under both Favorites and Devices in the Finder side bar.

NOTE: You cannot click Allow (step 5.2, above) while remotely accessing the machine, or while using some non-traditional mice.
