Configuring eduroam Wi-Fi for Android

Set up your Android device to automatically connect to eduroam, UB’s secure, preferred Wi-Fi network.

Note: Administrative privileges are needed on your device.

Select UB Connect.

1. Make sure your device's Wi-Fi is turned on (under Settings)

2. Select UB Connect from your device's available Wi-Fi networks (swipe down to choose the network)

3. Open your web browser and go to connect.buffalo.edu

Tap Start Connection Wizard from the splash screen.

4. Tap Start Connection Wizard

Tap Configure and Connect.

5. Tap Download  

6. Tap Open with Google Play

7. Tap OK

8. Tap Open

Tap Install.

9. Tap Install

Tap Open.

10. Tap Open

click Search and Setup.

11. Tap Search and Set Up

Enter buffalo.edu for domain, then click Continue.

12. For Domain, enter buffalo.edu and then click Continue

13. Select eduroam-tls

14. Tap Next. You will be re-directed back to UB

Enter your UBITname and password.

12. Enter your UBITName and UBITName Password in their respective fields and tap Log In

click Done.

13. Click Done
