UB Login Phish - Do not click 'Quick Notice From University Of Buffalo' email

IT Security Alert.

An email claiming to come from the University Of Buffalo Administrative IT Team Service regarding "an email service upgrade" asks you to "update your details in order to ensure 100% service of your account", but really is trying to obtain your UBITName and password.

Red flags: How you can tell it is a fake

  1. The email did not come from a University at Buffalo email address.
  2. Poor grammar/spelling was used.
  3. Hovering on the link shows it goes to a non BUFFALO.EDU website.
