UB Login Phish- Do not click '1 new schedule Message ' email 11-01-22
An email supposedly from "University at Buffalo" claims that you have 1 new secure schedule message and to "Click here to read".
Red flags: How you can tell it is a fake
- The From is supposedly MyUB, but the address will be your own
- The subject is vague
- The domain of the URL is not buffalo.edu.
I already clicked the link. What should I do?
- If you entered your password, change it immediately - go to Changing Your Password.
- If clicked on the link, but did not enter your password, please check that your computer security or anti virus program is on and up to date.
I did not click on the attachment. What should I do?
Delete the email.
