UB Login Phish - Do not click 'Email address changed successfully' email 10-23-17

IT Security Alert.

An email supposedly from "UBIT - University at Buffalo" indicates that your University email was recently changed and to log in if you have not recently changed your address.

  1. If you hover over the mail URL you will notice it is not a buffalo.edu web site.
  2. If you hover over any of these other links you will notice none of them are buffalo.edu sites.

I already clicked the links. What should I do?

  • If clicked on the link, but did not enter your password, please check that your computer security or anti virus program is on and up to date.

I did not click on the links. What should I do?

Delete the email.
