Joining a fraternity or sorority is an opportunity to serve the community at UB and beyond. It’s a commitment to scholarship and leadership. And it’s a privilege that you will enjoy for the rest of your life.
Perform for thousands of cheering fans. Travel to NCAA tournaments and football games. Make lifelong friends as you promote UB throughout the community. Whether you want to play an instrument, dance or toss a flag, there’s a place for you here.
The University Council serves as the primary oversight and advisory board to the University at Buffalo and its president and senior officers. This student representative sits on a 10-member board (the others are appointed by the governor of the State of New York) and serves as the voice for all UB students.
Meet other transfer students, connect with staff, and get more involved on campus. Wherever you transferred from, you’re welcome to join us for these fun, casual events — and discover all the ways we can help you succeed at UB.
