Artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday work, learning, and research, but with so many AI tools available, it can be difficult to know which one is right for the task.
That's where BullsAI comes in.
Built and hosted by UB, BullsAI gives faculty, staff, and students access to a growing suite of AI tools designed specifically for the university community. Whether you're writing, coding, conducting research, or building AI-powered applications, BullsAI provides a secure, flexible environment.
What does BullsAI offer?
Rather than being a single chatbot, BullsAI is a platform with several connected services:
BullsAI Chat
The easiest place to start. BullsAI Chat offers a familiar conversational interface similar to other popular AI chatbots, but lets you choose from multiple AI models and even compare their responses side by side. You can work with text, images, and documents all in one place.
BullsAI Agents
Need an AI assistant tailored to a specific task? BullsAI Agents lets you build custom assistants that follow your instructions and reference curated document libraries. For example, an instructor could create an AI tutor for a course, while an office could build an assistant that answers questions using departmental documentation.
BullsAI Labs
Designed for hands-on experimentation, BullsAI Labs provides ready-to-use coding and data science environments, including tools like Jupyter notebooks and VS Code. It's ideal for classroom activities, research projects, and software development.
BullsAI Model Hub and Compute
Behind the scenes, BullsAI includes API access for developers and GPU-powered computing resources that support advanced AI research, model training, and custom applications. Most individuals won't interact with these services directly, but they make the platform scalable for future teaching and research needs.
