    With a historic investment from New York State and in support of our Top 25 goal, UB is substantially growing our ranks of tenured and tenure-track faculty in areas of great societal importance and university strength.
  • Accreditation: Middle States Commission on Higher Education

    UB is committed to providing an excellent education to its undergraduate, graduate, and professional students by continued accreditation through the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The university was last re-accredited through a self-study review and site visit in 2024.
  • Future of the UB Curriculum Committee

    10 years have passed since the launch of the UB Curriculum, and it is an appropriate time to consider the future of general education at UB, with the benefit of faculty, student and staff perspectives. We are currently in the process of creating a Future of the UB Curriculum Committee to carry out this charge.
