Beginning June 29, the UB Tech Squad service counter is temporarily relocating right outside Level Up, across from the Lockwood Library.
Starting June 29, 2026, the UB Tech Squad’s service counter will be available right across from the Lockwood Library, just outside of Level Up esports arena and gaming lounge on the 2nd floor. Silverman Library will be closed this summer for HVAC improvements.
Tech Squad’s summer hours remain the same, providing support Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The UB Tech Squad will continue to provide the same tech services. Students can drop off and pick up their devices and schedule appointments anywhere on North or South Campus to get help with:
The UB Tech Squad service counter is expected to move back to its permanent home at the 3rd floor Silverman Library by the start of the fall 2026 semester.
Along with the service counter, students can also book an appointment to meet UB Tech Squad anywhere on North or South Campus for free technology assistance by visiting buffalo.edu/ubit/help. You can also give them a call at (716) 645-3542 or email ubithelp@buffalo.edu.
Faculty and staff can also visit the counter for UBITName password resets, assistance with Duo and other UBIT service questions, or contact the UBIT Help Center at (716) 645-3542, email ubithelp@buffalo.edu or submit a ticket at buffalo.edu/ubit/help. UB faculty can should contact their departmental IT support team for assistance with UB-managed devices.
