All special parking and transportation requests are processed through Blue Services. External customers can access the same streamlined system used by UB faculty and staff.

How to Submit Your Request

Special Parking Requests

Use this service for:

  • Conference and event parking
  • Visitor parking for official university business
  • Special event parking arrangements

Information you'll need to provide:

  • Purpose of visit or event details
  • Requested dates and times
  • Preferred parking locations on campus
  • Number of parking spaces needed
  • Contact information for coordination
  • Institution and billing information
  • University sponsor or contact person

Transportation Services

Use this service for:

  • Campus shuttle services for events
  • Special transportation accommodations for visitors
  • Group transportation for conferences or meetings

Information you'll need to provide:

  • Purpose of transportation request
  • Departure and arrival locations
  • Date and time requirements
  • Number of passengers
  • Special requirements or accommodations
  • Institution and billing information
  • University sponsor or contact person

Processing and Approval

  • Review time: External requests typically require 3-5 business days for processing
  • University sponsor: Most external requests require a UB sponsor or contact person
  • Approval notifications: You'll receive email updates on your request status
  • Questions about your request: Contact information will be provided in your confirmation email

Payment and Billing

  • Payment methods: Credit card, institutional billing
  • Billing information: Required during account setup
  • Invoicing: Electronic invoices sent through Blue Services
  • Payment terms: Net 30 days unless other arrangements are made

Important Notes for External Users

  • Lead time: Submit requests at least one week in advance when possible
  • University sponsor: Many services require a UB faculty or staff sponsor
  • Campus access: Parking and transportation arrangements do not automatically grant campus building access
  • Event coordination: For large events, contact Parking and Transportation directly to discuss comprehensive arrangements
