The UN Habitat, or the UN Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development, occurs every 20 years and sets global standards of achievement in sustainable urban development by drawing together cooperation with partners, stakeholders, and urban actors at all levels of government and the private sector.

Undergraduate student, Camile Brown, received a travel award from the Community for Global Health Equity to attend UN Habitat III in partnership with faculty mentor, Dr. Samina Raja, and the UB Food Lab.
