EOP Student Leadership Positions
EOP provides opportunities for current students to engage in leadership development by taking advantage of the many leadership positions we offer though our department. Students can participate during each semester and throughout the summer. We offer Volunteer, Work-Study, and Paid positions.
EOP Front Desk Student Assistant
The Front Desk Student Assistant serves as the first point of contact for the office providing exceptional customer service to students, staff and visitors. This role is responsible for greeting guests, answering phone calls, assisting with appointment check in and check out and supporting daily office operations through a variety of administrative tasks.
Core Responsibilities:
- Greet students, staff and visitors in a courteous and welcoming manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department.
- Monitor the front desk and waiting area to ensure a clean, organized and professional environment.
- Ensure and assist in students/or guest check-in procedures.
- Complete administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.
EOP Media Student Assistant
This position is responsible for organizing and maintaining EOP media assets, assisting with website content and marketing initiatives, supporting newsletter development and publication and helping to strengthen alumni connections through LinkedIn and database management. Through these efforts, the student assistant helps showcase the achievements, experiences and impact of the EOP community.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Organizing and maintaining the EOP database of media content.
- Assist with the EOP website and additional EOP branding & marketing initiatives.
- Assist with the development and publication of the EOP Newsletter.
- Assist in developing and managing the EOP Alumni LinkedIn page.
- Assist to update the EOP Alumni email list and database.
Summer Bridge Program Tutor
The Summer Tutor position is responsible for providing tutoring support in the areas of Math or Sociology. EOP Summer Bridge Tutors provide academic support and create an open atmosphere of learning for all EOP students. Tutors will serve as a resource and role model to EOP students while providing academic assistance over the course of 5 weeks. All 5 weeks will be in-person, and tutors must be available for the entire duration of the program. Tutors are responsible for their own housing and meals. However, if housing and/or meals are a significant factor in the applicant’s ability to participate in the program, applicants must indicate their hardship on the application. Note: Housing and/or meals aren’t guaranteed for tutors.
The summer program will take place July 5 - August 7th, 2026.

Summer Bridge Program Counselor Assistant
Summer Bridge Program Counselor Assistants (CA's) are responsible for enhancing the student's overall experience and are an integral part of the program. During the program CA's will work closely with their assigned EOP Senior Counselor, Program Coordinators, and EOP Director to develop and maintain a positive in-person experience for program participants.
The summer program will take place July 5 - August 7, 2026
