EOP Student Leadership Positions

EOP provides opportunities for current students to engage in leadership development by taking advantage of the many leadership positions we offer though our department. Students can participate during each semester and throughout the summer. We offer Volunteer, Work-Study, and Paid positions.

Summer Bridge Program Counselor Assistant

Summer Bridge Program Counselor Assistants (CA's) are responsible for enhancing the student's overall experience and are an integral part of the program. During the program CA's will work closely with their assigned EOP Senior Counselor, Program Coordinators, and EOP Director to develop and maintain a positive in-person experience for program participants.

The summer program will take place July 5-August 7, 2026

Summer Bridge Program Tutor

The Summer Tutor position is responsible for providing tutoring support in the areas of Math or Sociology. EOP Summer Bridge Tutors provide academic support and create an open atmosphere of learning for all EOP students. Tutors will serve as a resource and role model to EOP students while providing academic assistance over the course of 5 weeks.  All 5 weeks will be in-person, and tutors must be available for the entire duration of the program. Tutors are responsible for their own housing and meals. However, if housing and/or meals are a significant factor in the applicant’s ability to participate in the program, applicants must indicate their hardship on the application. Note: Housing and/or meals aren’t guaranteed for tutors.
