Job Duties Overview
- Bridge between students, assistant resident director, assigned counselors, and leadership
- Guide, support, and role model for pre-freshman students
- Key part of EOP’s student success structure
- Residential Advisory Duties
Minimum Requirements
- Understands and is committed to the mission of EOP
- Can relate to and/or is empathetic to the struggles of EOP students
- Is mature, ethical, makes good decisions, and is a role model for other students
- Ability to cooperate and work effectively in a team with full-time staff, peers, and individuals from varying backgrounds
- Can effectively lead and/or manage large groups
- Has strong time management, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Able to work in-person on campus during the program duration
Qualifications
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 (if lower than a 2.8, applicant must explain why they should still be considered)
- At least a sophomore standing or higher
