Job Duties Overview

  • Bridge between students, assistant resident director, assigned counselors, and leadership
  • Guide, support, and role model for pre-freshman students
  • Key part of EOP’s student success structure
  • Residential Advisory Duties

Minimum Requirements

  • Understands and is committed to the mission of EOP
  • Can relate to and/or is empathetic to the struggles of EOP students
  • Is mature, ethical, makes good decisions, and is a role model for other students 
  • Ability to cooperate and work effectively in a team with full-time staff, peers, and individuals from varying backgrounds
  • Can effectively lead and/or manage large groups
  • Has strong time management, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Able to work in-person on campus during the program duration

Qualifications

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 (if lower than a 2.8, applicant must explain why they should still be considered)
  • At least a sophomore standing or higher
