The HUBzero Foundation supports the portal software that CCR uses for two exciting research avenues.  Their January 2017 newsletter featured an article on the work of both portals.

The VHUB portal is a HUBzero instance that is used by more than 1000 geologists and volcanolgists around the world for collaboration and risk mitigation.  The initiative was started in 2010 by UB, Michigan Technological University, and the University of South Florida.

The Virtual Infrastructure for Data Intensive Analysis (VIDIA) unites SUNY Oneonta and CCR to support the analysis of large datasets by social science students at Primarily Undergraduate Institutions (PUIs).  Using the VIDIA platform, SUNY Oneonta has integrated the analysis of large datasets into coursework in Sociology, Political Science and Philosophy.
