When you live on campus you always have someone to help you. Resident and Community Advisors are UB students who live along side you and are trained to provide guidance and support in all aspects of your life at UB.

There are leadership opportunities available to on-campus students, like the Residence Hall Association (RHA). One of the largest student-run organizations on campus, RHA is a governance group that advocates for residents and sponsors programming and events.

Your safety is our priority. A UB Card is required to access our residence halls. With live-in staff on duty 24/7 and our on-campus University Police department standing by, there is always someone looking out for you.

Live Where You Learn

When you live on campus, you’ll be surrounded by people and programs to help you get better grades, graduate on time and achieve your full potential.

Learning happens everywhere at UB, but we know how important it is to get to class on time. All on-campus housing locations are just a short walk or free shuttle ride away from class, office hours and library study sessions.

By living with other students who share your interests, you’ll make friends more easily, have study partners right next door, and get access to programs specifically designed around your goals. Whether based on academic interests, leadership goals or a passion for diversity and inclusion, the benefits will be felt in every aspect of your life.

Study Spaces

You don’t have to go to the library to get help with your homework, print a paper or find a quiet place to study. Every residence hall complex has an Academic Success Center, where you’ll find study spaces, computers, resource materials and free tutoring services.

At UB, you have the unique opportunity to live with like-minded students in our popular Living Learning Communities, typically located in our residence halls.
