Make lifelong friends at Governors Complex, your new home away from home. Designed by I.M. Pei and Associates, Governors is located on UB’s North Campus, right across the street from UB’s academic spine. Everything you need is just steps away, from a new restaurant and laundry area to a high-tech study lounge.
Every room includes a desk, chair, dresser, closet or wardrobe, and extra-long twin bed (mattress is 80" x 35.5").
Experience what your room looks like with our 360° panoramic images that can be viewed on your PC, phone, or virtual reality headset.
At UB, your rates include electricity, cable TV, internet, laundry and much more. Our housing agreements are based on the 10-month academic year, so you’re not paying rent over the summer. And unlike off-campus apartments, UB offers flexible housing agreements for students who study abroad or need to change their housing arrangements. When you compare costs, it’s easy to see how you can save money by living on campus.

Home to nearly 800 students in double (two-person) rooms, Governors Complex is the smaller of the two dormitory-style housing complexes on UB’s North Campus. It is divided into four identical, interconnected halls (Clinton, Dewey, Lehman and Roosevelt), each with their own activities and events—and each named for a famous New York governor.
Governors offers general and specialty housing, including areas designated for FYI-Engineering, Honors College, Leadership House, and Daniel Acker Scholars.
