Associate Vice President for Economic Development (AVPED)

The Vice President for Research and Economic Development (VPRED) seeks a dynamic individual to lead UB's Business and Entrepreneur Partnerships (BEP) team—a well-established economic development enterprise dedicated to building stronger businesses. BEP is responsible for $50M in funds for joint R&D with industry, early-stage startup programming, incubation and wet lab space, and novel technologies that can be licensed to scale businesses.

The AVPED will serve on the VPRED senior leadership team and will be responsible for developing and providing new pathways for innovators, engaging external partnerships with industry, and aligning with government entities and funders to drive economic growth through job creation, research revenue, licensing revenue and other revenue for UB.
