Interactive software tool for instructors to insert polling questions with a native PowerPoint integration, ask interactive questions on-the-fly and deliver self-paced assessments

Instructors add polling slides, created using the TurningPoint desktop software, to PowerPoint presentations for students to evaluate and respond. Students respond to polling questions using a physical ‘clicker’ device or TurningPoint Mobile software for web-enabled devices such as smart phones and laptops. Student responses are captured and can be immediately displayed to gauge content understanding and/or saved for later review and grading.

Instructors are required to have a Turning Account, which provides a unique identifier for each user that is tied to all software accounts and response devices.

The UB wireless network may be insufficient to support all student TurningPoint Mobile connection attempts. UB recommends that students use physical clickers (Models NXT or QT).
