Tech Squad headquarters moves to Lockwood Cybrary

UB Tech Squad, the mobile team that solves student tech problems for free anywhere on campus, is now based out of the UBIT Help Center in the 2nd floor Lockwood Cybrary—but students can still book an appointment online anytime at buffalo.edu/ubit/help.
UB students were introduced to the Tech Squad, a mobile extension of the UBIT Help Center, during the Spring 2017 semester. Students can pick their appointment time online anytime or by calling 716-645-3542.
Originally, the Tech Squad headquarters was located in 106 Red Jacket. The move to the UBIT Help Center makes UBIT’s tech help more efficient overall. Also, since most students book the Tech Squad online, convenience and response time for students across North and South Campus isn’t expected to change.
