Payment plan owners will have the option of making an advanced payment towards upcoming payment plan installments. Advanced payments will either reduce the amount of each installment equally or reduce or complete the next installment.
Paying Account Activity - Payments are applied towards the current account balance, reducing the amount of each installment. Upcoming installments will be rebalanced evenly and will be debited on the next installment date. This does NOT replace a scheduled payment plan installment. Students and authorized payers will have this option available.
Log in to your HUB Student Center through MyUB. Click Billing/Payments (Figure 1).
Click Payment Options in the navigation menu (Figure 2).
You are brought to the QuikPAY homepage. Click View & Pay Accounts in the navigation menu (Figure 3).
Click the Make a Payment button and select Pay Account Activity from the drop down menu (Figure 4).
Be sure that Account Activity is selected. Enter the Payment Amount. Click the payment certification box. Click Next- Payment Method (Figure 5).
A pop up notifcation will display informing you that this payment will not replace the installment (Figure 6).

Choose your method of payment. Click on either enter new credit/debit information, enter new eCheck information or Flywire for International Payments (Figure 7).
This example shows a credit card payment. Enter information into all of the required fields notated by an asterisk *. Enter the Card Number, Account Holder's Name, Expiration Date and CVV2 Code. There is an option to save your card information as a profile. Saving your profile information will make it easier to access this payment method for future payments (Figure 8).
Enter the billing information of the cardholder. Fields with an asterisk* are required. Enter the Country, Address, City, State/Province/Region and Zip/Postal Code. Under the Payment Information Recap section, enter the cardholder's phone number. Click on the Submit Payment for button to complete your payment (Figure 9).
Once your payment has been processed, you will receive a Payment Confirmation. If you would like to print the receipt, click on the Print button (Figure 10).
The Current Balance is reduced by the amount of the one-time payment. The Payment Plan will show as out of balance due to the one-time payment. The Adjust Balance link will appear so the payment plan owner can rebalance, or the account will rebalance according to the Rebalancing Schedule (Figure 11).

This should be used to reduce the next installment or completely pay off the next installment. Students and payment plan owners will have this option available.
