FinTech Switch is a new kind of design competition focused on the financial technology industry with two opportunities to show off skills to recruiters.
FinTech Switch gives you opportunities to discover new student talent at the University at Buffalo interested in the FinTech industry.
We want to offer you this exclusive opportunity to source fintech talent at no cost to you!
15+ teams compete in a 7-week design competition to solve a challenge the FinTech industry is facing. After submitting their solutions into a gallery for you to review, they're invited to an exclusive virtual FinTech Switch meetup with you!
This virtual meetup isn't like a typical career fair. Using Remo, a virtual conference tool, students will stay at the same tables. You're free to move (virtually) from table to table, chatting individually with students who competed in the design competition.
There's no limit to how many representatives can attend the virtual meet-up.
Learn more about the registration process, full event schedule and how Remo works below.
To meet the registration verification criteria, you’ll need to:
You'll receive a link via email to access the gallery of FinTech Switch student submitted entries and your invitation to the virtual meet-up in Remo.
12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. EST
Starting a 12:30 p.m., use your invitation to access the virtual meet-up and set-up your profile in Remo.
The twist-- Unlike a typical career fair, you'll be the one moving (virtually) from table to table, chatting individually with students who competed in the FinTech Switch Design Competition. You have about 15-minutes at a time to talk to the students of your choosing about their solutions and any current jobs and internships you might have for them.
Note: Only two reps can talk to a student at a time at a table. But there's no limit to how many representatives can attend.
