Career Design Center entrance.

Located in the heart of the North Campus, 259 Capen Hall is home to 30+ Career Design Center staff and student employees. 

Finding 259 Capen Hall

For the Elevator

Once on UB North Campus:

  • Enter Capen Hall on the ground floor by Capen Café.
  •  Turn left toward the hallway towards Knox Hall.  There will be elevators to the right by the restrooms.
  • Take the elevator to the second floor.
  • From the elevator, proceed to the right down the short hallway to Career Design Center, located in suite 259.

For the Stairs

Get your steps in and take the stairs.

Once on UB North Campus:

  • Enter Capen Hall on the ground floor by Capen Café.
  • Turn left toward the hallway towards Knox Hall.  
  • On the left, you'll see a bright white hallway to the One World Café stairs.
  • Take the stairs to the top of the second floor.
  • Walk slightly to the right and continue down the short hallway to Career Design Center, suite 259.

Employer Parking on North Campus

PLEASE NOTE:

If you contact our office ahead of time, you will be able to park in the Fronczak Visitor A & B Lot at no cost. Otherwise, you'll be asked to pay a small fee to park in the lot between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Turn-by-Turn Directions to Parking

If entering the North Campus from I-990.

  1. Take exit 1 - Univ. at Buffalo North Campus.
  2. Merge onto John James Audubon Pkwy. 0.2 mi
  3. Take a sharp left, before the light, to stay on John James Audubon Pkwy 0.2 mi
  4. Turn right on to White Road. 0.3 mi
  5. Turn right into the Fronczak Visitor A & B Lot.

If entering the North Campus Flint Road entrance from Maple Road.

  1. If you're traveling west on Maple Road, turn right onto Flint Road. 0.3 mi
  2. If you're traveling east on Maple Road, turn left onto Flint Road. 0.3 mi
  3. At the light, turn left onto John James Audubon Pkwy. 0.7 mi
  4. Turn right on to White Road. 0.3 mi
  5. Turn right into the Fronczak Visitor A & B Lot.

If entering the North Campus from Millersport Highway (Rte. 263).

  1. Take the University at Buffalo North Campus Flint Entrance exit on the right.
  2. Continue onto John James Audubon Pkwy. 1.1 mi
  3. Turn right on to White Road. 0.3 mi
  4. Turn right into the Fronczak Visitor A & B Lot.
