UB Fund for the School of Architecture and Planning

Wooden structures created by freshman architecture students as part of a yearlong design-build studio are on display at Artpark in Lewiston.

Support school-wide scholarships, learning opportunities and more through this fund.

The UB Fund for the School of Architecture and Planning supports a variety of student-facing activities, including (but not limited to) student scholarships, experiential learning opportunities, programs and other initiatives designed to help students succeed. These opportunities play a pivotal role in helping UB attract, retain and support top students.

We are proud to be the only school of architecture and planning within the State University of New York (SUNY) system. Here, a learn-by-doing approach to professional education is the crux of our programs in both architecture and urban planning. From the studio to the community, students constantly “do” and “make” through applied research, built works and creative activities.

As a community of thought leaders and aspiring architects and urban planners, we think and act on the edge of knowledge and practice, guided by a culture of experimentation, a core belief in learning by doing, and a spirit of public service and inclusion. We prove every day that design and planning are agents of change for community, place, culture, social justice and the natural world.
