Common Questions

Can students record with Panopto?

Student recording is limited to a course “assignments” folder or by creating a student video submission assignment  in UB Learns.

What if I need my GA or TA to record or manage recordings for my class?

  1. Have the student sign into Panopto at least once
  2. Fill out the UBIT Help Center support form
  3. Select Give a GA or TA access to record for a course and enter their UBIT email
