Technology enhances instruction by empowering faculty with tools to engage learners and by bringing efficiency to routine teaching tasks.

Blackboard on UBlearns is the Course Management System at UB. Instructors can use UBlearns to post syllabi, readings and assignments, as well as communicate via email, virtual chats or discussion boards.
UBclicks is a classroom response system that allows students to participate in presentations or lectures by submitting responses to interactive questions via a keypad.
iTunes U is a repository of downloadable digital files, usually audio or video and university-related podcasts. Podcasts can be subscribed to, allowing for automatic downloads of the latest content.
Apple TV uses AirPlay to play the video and audio of your iDevice to the video projector and sound system in select lecture halls.
Faculty and staff can request classroom and event recordings from a range of digital recording types using Echo360.
Store and distribute video files and live webcasts via the university's streaming server.
