Text summaries and real-time assistance

Available to all UB students, faculty, and staff, one of the standout features of Zoom AI Companion is its ability to provide text summaries of meetings and chats. The feature offers a detailed overview of key points discussed without the need for meticulous notetaking.

Additionally, Zoom AI Companion allows you to privately ask questions about the ongoing meeting in real-time. For instance, you can ask if your name was mentioned, or what the action items in the meeting are. Simply engage with the AI Companion to get the information you need discreetly.

Whiteboard content creation

Another aspect of the Zoom AI Companion is its capability to assist with whiteboard content based on existing content or prompts you enter when creating a whiteboard. Share your whiteboard with colleagues to facilitate collaborative brainstorming and idea generation, making virtual meetings more interactive.

Easy control

Zoom AI Companion can be easily turned on or off according to your preferences.

Privacy

Zoom AI Companion prioritizes privacy by not using audio, video, chat, screen sharing, or any other communication content to train AI models.
