The Student Engagement Peer Mentors are a select group of undergraduate students dedicated to fostering a culture of involvement and growth at UBuffalo. As a team, they connect students with professional development opportunities and offer mentorship to those seeking to enhance their campus engagement.
These student leaders serve as vital links between their peers and the resources offered by Student Engagement programs, guiding students toward leadership, service, and experiential learning opportunities.
Event Interns are a dynamic group of undergraduate students who play a key role in bringing campus events to life at UB. As a team, they promote and implement campus-wide events, creating meaningful experiences that enrich student life.
These student leaders gain hands-on experience in event planning and marketing while fostering connection and engagement within the campus community.

Help others get involved! The Student Engagement Peer Mentors work as a team to promote learning by engaging students in various professional development experiences and mentoring students looking to expand their involvement at UB. These student leaders build bridges between students and Student Engagement programs and act as resources and guides to students who are looking for leadership, service, and experiential learning opportunities.
This is an unpaid, academic-year internship for undergraduates, in the Student Engagement office under the direction of the LEAD Coordinator of Leadership and Development.
The Student Engagement Event Internship is an opportunity to assist with the planning, marketing, and execution of large-scale campus events. Interns will support the Student Engagement office by coordinating logistics, managing on-site activities, and engaging with attendees to create memorable experiences. This role offers valuable professional development in event planning, communication, and teamwork, with flexible hours to accommodate academic schedules. Interns will participate in weekly staff meetings, training sessions, and skill-building opportunities to enhance their leadership and project management abilities.
