The Office of Research Advancement (ORA) offers a broad range of support for faculty across all disciplines for their grant proposals at any level of complexity. With the aim of achieving UB’s goals of becoming a top-25 research institution and doubling its research expenditures, ORA provides comprehensive administrative and technical support to researchers as they form their research teams, identify collaborators and develop their proposals.

Small- and Large-Scale Proposal Management.

Full-service proposal package coordination, supplemental document preparation and final proposal submission.

Technical Document Editing.

Comprehensive, iterative proposal editing services for technical and narrative documents.

In-House Graphic Design.

Create comprehensive graphics support (i.e., Org charts; timelines; work plans; project organization; etc.).

Specialize Grant Support Services.

Tailored consultations and assistance in the development of non-technical documents (i.e. Project Evaluation; Management Plans; Mentoring Plans).
