NSF Presentation Template

Dr. Basil Nikolau, NSF Division Director for Molecular & Cellular Biosciences, will give a public presentation on Tuesday, February 25 at 11:00am in 403 Hayes Hall on UB's south campus.

In his presentation Dr. Nikolau will talk about his work within NSF, its mission, and its priorities for the coming year, such as NSF’s 10 Big Ideas (which include Harnessing the Data Revolution, Understanding the Rules of Life, and Midscale Instrumentation). He will also discuss NSF’s review process, and give suggestions for submitting a competitive proposal. Although the content’s focus will be on NSF’s Biological Sciences Directorate, Dr. Nikolau’s presentation would be relevant to researchers from any discipline and who wish to learn more about NSF.

All are welcome, though we ask that those planning to attend register via Eventbrite.
