If you're a New York State resident, you may be eligible for a Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) grant during UB’s summer term, which is considered accelerated study.
To qualify for summer TAP, you must:
- Be enrolled in a degree program at UB
- Have completed at least 24 credits during the previous fall and spring semesters (F grades do not count as completed credits)
- Have been enrolled full-time (12 degree-applicable credits) in the preceding spring term
- Meet New York State good academic standing requirements after the summer term
- Avoid failing or dropping summer courses, which could impact future TAP eligibility
