Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)

The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) program is for undergraduate students working on their first bachelor’s degree who demonstrate exceptional financial need as determined by the FAFSA.

SEOG eligibility is determined each year as a result of the FAFSA. Funds are limited, and awards are not guaranteed from one year to the next.

• Must have filed for your FAFSA by March 1st
• Be eligible for a Federal Pell Grant
• Be working on your first bachelor’s degree
• Meet income guidelines
