To be considered for financial aid at UB, including grants, loans, work-study and some scholarships, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year.

Undergraduate residents of New York State should complete a NYS Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application after completing the FAFSA application to determine if you are eligible for a TAP Grant.

If your financial situation has changed, you may be eligible for a federal aid adjustment through a process called professional judgment.
