The Part-Time Tuiiton Assistance Program (TAP) is a grant program financed by New York State. This program provides grants to eligible part-time undergraduate students to help pay tuition expenses.
To be considered for an award you must:
- Be taking three to eleven credits per semester.
- Be in good academic standing, per the Satisfactory Academic Progress standards, with at least a 2.00 cumulative GPA.
- Be a legal NYS resident for 12 continuous months prior to enrolling or qualified under NYS-DREAM Act.
- Academic year 24-25 NYS net taxable income cannot exceed $125,000 for dependent students; $60,000 for married students with no dependents; $30,000 for independent single students with no dependents.
- Be matriculated in an approved program of study.
