Students today, alumni forever

The UB Future Alumni Network (UB FAN) is a student-alumni volunteer group with the Office of Alumni Engagement. UB FAN Leaders and Alumni Mentors help foster connections between current students and the 307,000+ strong UB Alumni Network. We bring together students and alumni at events and provide valuable volunteer opportunities, social activities, and insider perks. Our goal is to create more opportunities for mentorship, storytelling, and professional growth in a no pressure and relaxed setting.

FAN Leaders

UB FAN Leaders serve as student volunteers for the Office of Alumni Engagement, gaining opportunities for special events and alumni networking. Light lift club that you can tailor to your own schedule via 1-2 emails per month with upcoming opportunities to assist with events and activities from us and our partners. With active service, Leaders earn an honors cord for graduation. After graduation, Leaders can become FAN Alumni Mentors to continue the cycle of building community between alumni and students.

Alumni Mentors

UB FAN Mentors discover how mentorship, event programming, and community connection can benefit their professional and personal journey. Alumni of any age can rediscover the power of connection, gain fresh perspectives from students, expand their networks, and even strengthen their own leadership and communication skills. By sharing your journey, you not only help shape the next generation of Bulls, but you also grow professionally, build your legacy, and stay connected to the evolving UB community
