Determination of grades is at the discretion of the faculty member teaching the course. Complete information about how grades will be calculated must be included in the course syllabus.

Repeat Code Definitions
  • RDFR - Department Force, Exclude GPA
  • REXP - Excessive attempts No GPA
  • RGPA - Repeated, Included in GPA
  • RNOG - Repeated, Excluded from GPA
  • RPRG - Permission, Included in GPA
  • RPRN - Permission, Excluded from GPA
  • RTRC - Transfer, Included in GPA
  • RTRN - Transfer, Excluded from GPA

Grades for Non-Attendance and Non-Completion of the Course

There are a variety of different grades to represent students who did not attend or did not complete a course. Each grade is appropriate only in specific circumstances. Please review the grading policies for more information.
