Our term "REC: Sports" encompasses laid-back and inclusive sports activities, designed for individuals with diverse skill levels and backgrounds. We prioritize enjoyment and physical activity over fierce competition, and the best part is, these activities are part of your Recreation membership.

REC: Programs, our more structured approach to recreaiton. Let us take the pressure off and allow yourself to enjoy some of our student-led programming.

UB Recreation offers student employment opportunities across multiple focus areas, allowing you to build experience aligned with your interests and career goals.

Are you a graduate student interested in a REC physical activity course? Graduate students can register for undergraduate classes with approval to enhance their well-being. To initiate the process, graduate students should submit a registration request to take a class outside of their major. Once approved, the student will be officially registered.

We offer academic classes that focus on physical activity to boost well-being. Each semester, we have about 150 classes covering activities like dance, yoga, fitness, and more. Some even offer certifications.

Physical activity 1 and 2 credited classes are repeatable; no more than 8 credit hours of physical activity course work can count towards total credit hours required for an undergraduate Bachelor's degree conferral.
