Recreation offers different membership rates depending upon your status at the University at Buffalo.

*Undergraduate/Graduate/Professional Students must currently be enrolled in courses at UB. Faculty and Staff must currently be employed at UB.

**Alumni members are considered community.

Effective 3/5/22, UB has made masks optional for all individuals on campus regardless of vaccination status.

Membership Types

Month | Valid one (1) calendar month, including day of purchase.

Semester | Valid one (1) academic semester, including day of purchase.

Annual | Valid one (1) calendar year, including day of purchase.

UB Faculty/Staff Complementary Hours

UB Recreation is offering complementary hours to UB Faculty and Staff.

From 7AM-8AM* & 12PM-1PM, UB Faculty and Staff can enjoy access to:

Alumni Arena

Indoor Jogging Track
Swimming Pool
Racquetball Court (reservation required)
Locker Room
Sauna & Steam Room

Clark Hall

Main Gym
Swimming Pool
Racquetball/Squash Courts (reservation required)
Locker Room

*UB Faculty and Staff will be able to access morning Open Swim at Alumni Arena Monday - Friday. Morning Open Swim times vary, so please check our Hours of Operation to ensure availablity.

UB Faculty and Staff are required to purchase a membership to use Recreation services and facilities outside of the hours listed above.
