Learn how to reach the UB Tech Squad to report and get help with Wi-Fi, Duo and other tech troubles.
UB Tech Squad are UB students’ free, fast technical support. Their walk-up counter is available on North Campus, located on the 2nd floor of Lockwood Library this summer (returning to the 3rd floor of Silverman Library in Capen in Fall 2026), where you can drop off and pick up devices. Students can also book appointments to meet Tech Squad anywhere on North or South Campus for help with personal devices.

If you’re experiencing problems with eduroam Wi-Fi in certain spots on campus, reporting this to UBIT is the best way to get it resolved. Quickly report your issue to us by emailing ubithelp@buffalo.edu or calling 716-645-3542. Be sure to include your device information and exact location. Our team of experts will then troubleshoot and aim to fix the issue.
