UB Information Technology (UBIT) and The Office of Curriculum, Assessment and Teaching Transformation (CATT) launched a new Learning Space Profiles website, giving faculty a central place to explore available classroom technology and features at UB.

One location to explore classroom features

With the new  Learning Space Profiles  website, faculty can explore what UB classrooms across all three campuses have to offer in one location, including classroom locations, maps, available classroom technology, features and new photos of each classroom.

Each profile offers a more detailed look at classrooms than previous tools, helping faculty explore the space and technology available in their classrooms before they teach.

If you teach in the same classrooms regularly, you can favorite it in Learning Space Profiles for faster access to classroom details.

Classroom search and support

Learning Space Profiles features a more powerful classroom search function where you can filter your search results by campus, classroom capacity, specific technology and more.

The website also provides direct links to UBIT classroom support forms, including classroom maintenance requests, technology problem reporting, classroom orientation and recording requests, and classroom reservations.

Need a classroom passcode?

You can also look up your classroom’s passcode through the Learning Space Profiles website by viewing a specific classroom. Classroom passcodes allow faculty to access the teaching station panels in each UB technology classroom

How do I get started?

As UBIT continues to update Learning Space Profiles, you can visit the new website now by logging in with your UBITName and password.

UBIT also has direct links to the new Learning Space Profiles available on our website, including the Reserve Classrooms and Explore Available Technology webpage as well as our webpage to look up your classroom passcode

Need help?

Need help with instructional support and teaching technology?  CATT hosts additional resources and support for UB faculty.  Faculty can also get help by contacting  their departmental IT support team.
