Conveniently located parking lots and spots are available throughout campus. You can park near your destination, or choose a park-and-ride lot with door-to-door shuttle service.
Tired of searching for a parking spot? You can pay to park in the Fronczak Lot, which is close to the academic spine.
Daily parking in the Fronczak lot is available for students, faculty, staff and visitors.

For daily paid parking, please pay at the Fronczak lot booth, located at the entrance to the paid parking lot.
You can purchase a long-term parking pass for the Fronczak lot.
To purchase your pass, visit the Parking and Transportation E-Business Center. Please note that these passes often sell out quickly, especially at the beginning of the semester. If they are sold out, you can visit the Fronczak parking booth to add your name to the waiting list.
Your hangtag is not valid in the Fronczak parking lot; you must pay extra to park here Monday - Friday before 3 p.m.
For short-term parking, you can park at one of the parking meters conveniently located throughout campus. Please note that parking permits are not valid at parking meters.
Parking meters are enforced 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Rates vary per location.
You can use a 1-800 number or smartphone app to pay at select meters on campus when you pre-register through Parkmobile. Parkmobile is a service that lets you make payments from your credit card, get reminders before your parking expires, add time to your space from your phone and manage your parking receipts. Parking is prohibited at malfunctioning meters.

Persons who drive vehicles on the various campus locations are subject at all times to the motor vehicle laws of the State of New York, the rules and regulations of the State University of New York at Buffalo and to the ordinances of the City of Buffalo and Town of Amherst where applicable.
A complete list of campus rules and regulations consistent with the Vehicle and Traffic Law relating to parking, vehicular and pedestrian traffic and safety is on file with the Office of the Secretary of State, the offices of the clerks of the Town of Amherst and City of Buffalo, the Office of University Police and the Office of Parking and Transportation Services and may be reviewed, by appointment, within the normal business hours of these offices.
Parking rules and regulations are subject to change for certain campus events, special occasions and emergencies. Restrictions will be posted by the Parking and Transportation Services office and will be strictly enforced.
No persons shall drive a vehicle on university streets, roads or highways at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions and having regard to the actual and potential hazards then existing; but in no event shall a person drive a vehicle in excess of 30 miles per hour unless a different speed is authorized and indicated by the university. The maximum speed limit at which vehicles may proceed on or along roadways is as follows:

No person shall park a vehicle on the premises of the university in such manner as to interfere with the use of a fire hydrant, fire lane, or other emergency zone; create any other hazard or unreasonably interfere with the free and proper use of a roadway or pedestrian way.
